Israel at the first stage of death throes!

Damascus – Syria: How many of you remember Monty Python’s dead parrot sketch? It was a wonderful comedic routine that transcended nationality and culture. Timeless in its appeal, it is often cited in doomed or desperate situations when a bit of gallows humour is needed.

I was reminded of it on the road to Damascus the other day as news filtered through that the Middle East peace talks had stalled and failed; well, I wonder who saw that one coming? Yes, Barack Obama’s peace initiative is even deader than the Norwegian Blue parrot “bought from this ‘ere emporium” by John Cleese. Just like the Monty Python pet-shop owner, played so brilliantly by Michael Palin (“It’s stunned; it’s pining for the fjords!”), Obama is in complete denial that the peace talks are a busted flush. Can he resurrect them, like Michael Palin tried to resurrect the extremely dead parrot? Can he do it? No, he can’t!

My travelling companions, a gaggle of assorted journalists and travel writers from various media outlets, expressed no surprise either. Later that day we walked through the ancient ruins of the oasis city of Palmyra north-east of Damascus, and I began to realise then just how insignificant Israel really is in the grand scheme of things in the Arab world.

The state is just over 60 years old and in that time it has never known a day of peace for itself or its neighbours. It is in a permanent state of advanced paranoia and is always on a war footing, real or imagined. That sort of negative energy and existence can never be sustained for very long but, in the Middle East, time is measured in centuries not months and years.

Amphitheatre Palmyra - Syria

Sitting in a magnificent, ancient open-air amphitheatre in Palmyra, I watched a play about Zenobia, a 3rd century Syrian queen of the Palmyrene Empire. Portrayed as a magnificent, fearless warrior who led a revolt against the mighty Romans, Zenobia’s story was inspiring. As the drama unfolded, she expanded her own territory and even conquered Egypt, but it was obvious before the curtain call that it would all end in tears. And it did – the invincible female warrior’s reign was finished after a handful of years and she was shipped off to Rome to be paraded through the streets in gold chains and cuffs, humiliated and defeated.

As I wandered through the ruins of Palmyra after the performance, it occurred to me why many in the Arab world seem laid back and disinterested in the latest failure of yet another round of faux peace talks between the Israelis and the Palestinians. You see, in the history of the Middle East there have been hundreds of rulers, men and women like Zenobia who believed themselves to be invincible; with the exception of a very few, most of their names have disappeared beneath the sands of time.

The moral of this tale is simple: nothing lasts forever; empires and emperors come and go; borders disappear and expand; and so will arrogant, vicious little Israel. Not even the size of an African game reserve it is already experiencing the first stages of its death throes. The Zionist State is a failed project with very high maintenance costs and a simply unsustainable future.

Conversely, no matter what wars and natural disasters engulf the region, or borders change, or countries appear and disappear, the Arab world will always be there.

In terms of history, seven decades – the blood-soaked lifespan of the Zionist state of Israel – barely registers as a blip on the Arab world’s timeline. The author of its own misfortune, this pox on the region’s landscape will disappear. History tells us that. The Zionist State’s demise is inevitable.

All that remains of Palmyra is a series of magnificent ruins which fire the imagination, but I can almost guarantee that after another thousand years the name of Zenobia will still be talked about because of her legendary courage and spirit. I wonder if anyone will remember Israel and, if so, for what? It’s illegal and immoral occupation of the Palestinians, perhaps, or its complete disregard for the rule of international laws and conventions?

Perhaps someone should explain this to the other new kids on the block: the Americans. And if Obama still doesn’t get it then maybe one of his special advisors should run the Monty Python dead parrot sketch in the White House’s private cinema one evening soon.

Mr President, to misquote John Cleese’s character, I think it is fair to say: “These peace talks are no more! They have ceased to be! The process has shuffled off this mortal coil and gone to meet its maker! It is expired, bereft of life. The peace talks are dead, mate. They’ve snuffed it!” And, despite being nailed on by US support, all we need now is for Israel to fall off its somewhat precarious perch. What a day that will be.

  1. Israel, like other colonial powers – has been trying its best to wipe out the history of Arabs – and it has a quite success in it when it comes to the western world.

It’s high time that Muslims should re-discover their glorious past and try to implement the grand civilization in the present day – for the benefits of the coming generations.

  2. Elie Wiesel vs Encyclopaedia Britannica

Wiesel has been one of the most prominent spokesmen for the very sizeable group of people known as Holocaust survivors. [According to Norman Finkelstein of the City University of New York in his book The Holocaust Industry published in the year 2000, ‘The Israeli Prime Minister’s office recently put the number of "living Holocaust survivors" at nearly a million’ (p.83)]. Wiesel has chaired the US Holocaust Memorial Council and has been the recipient of a Congressional Gold Medal and Nobel Peace Prize..

    Time Magazine, March 18 1985:

‘How had he survived two of the most notorious killing fields [Auschwitz and Buchenwald] of the century? “I will never know” Wiesel says. “I was always weak. I never ate. The slightest wind would turn me over. In Buchenwald they sent 10,000 to their deaths every day. I was always in the last hundred near the gate. They stopped. Why?”

Compare this with Encyclopaedia Britannica (1993), under ‘Buchenwald’:

“In World War II it held about 20,000 prisoners.. Although there were no gas chambers, hundreds perished monthly through disease, malnutrition, exhaustion, beatings and executions.”

  3. I’ve checked out the six volumes of Churchill’s Second World War and the statement is quite correct – not a single mention of Nazi ‘gas chambers,’ a ‘genocide’ of the Jews, or of ‘six million’ Jewish victims of the war.

Eisenhower’s Crusade in Europe is a book of 559 pages; Churchill’s Second World War totals 4,448 pages; and De Gaulle’s three-volume Mémoires de guerre is 2,054 pages.

In this mass of writing, which altogether totals 7,061 pages (not including the introductory parts), published from 1948 to 1959, one will find no mention either of Nazi ‘gas chambers,’ a ‘genocide’ of the Jews, or of ‘six million’ Jewish victims of the war.

  4. When I was a kid growing up in Brooklyn in the late 1940′s and 1950s, many of the local, small businesses were owned by Jews who had come out of the camps. Candy store, dry cleaners, soda fountain, kosher butcher, podiatrist, oculist. I played with their kids. NEVER, ever, was there any talk of this “Holocaust” stuff. In fact, my parents, relatives and the people on my block thought the Nuremberg show trial was just that: a show that was used to justify the crimes we had inflicted on the Germans. I remember going to the movies every Sat as a kid and seeing in the newsreels what we had done to these poor people in the name of “civilization.” I asked my parents where the people who had lived in these burned, flattened cities had gone, and they set about educating me at a very tender age.

Nuremberg was a state propaganda effort to brainwash us into believing that the Germans deserved what they got. But the only folks who actually believe all that nonsense are the social elites beholden to the tribe.

  5. Interesting arithmetic – the incredible numbers

Have a look at a typical account by one of the seemingly endless number of survivors: Olga Lengyel’s Five Chimneys: a woman survivor’s true story of Auschwitz (Granada/ Ziff-Davis, 1947, 1972).

According to Lengyel, ‘After June, 1943, the gas chamber was reserved exclusively for Jews and Gypsies.. Three hundred and sixty corpses every half-hour, which was all the time it took to reduce human flesh to ashes, made 720 per hour, or 17,280 corpses per twenty-four hour shift. And the ovens, with murderous efficiency, functioned day and night. However, one must also reckon the death pits, which could destroy another 8,000 cadavers a day. In round numbers, about 24,000 corpses were handled each day. An admirable production record, one that speaks well for German industry.’ (Paperback edition, pp80-81). [No trace of any remains of or in ‘death pits’ has been found.]

This implies almost 100,000 corpses per four working days, or a million in 40 days, or six million in 240 days (eight months). Notice the bald precision of the figures without any explanation, the utter confidence in the reader’s credulity.

The blurb on the cover of the book quotes the New York Herald-Tribune: “Passionate, tormenting”. Albert Einstein, the promoter of the US construction of the bombs used at Hiroshima and Nagasaki, is quoted as offering “You have done a real service by letting the ones who are now silent and most forgotten speak.”

Could this claim be a misprint?

Kitty Hart, in spite of her name a Jewish survivor born in Poland, fully confirms these figures:

‘Working around the clock, the four units together could dispose of about 18,000 bodies every twenty-four hours, while the open pits coped with a further 8,000 in the same period.’ (p 118; Return to Auschwitz – paperback edition by Granada (1981, 1983).

According to the cover blurb, ‘The subject of the award-winning Yorkshire television documentary of the same name.’ ‘Both engaging and harrowing…an important addition to the growing holocaust literature, very little of which conveys so courageously both the daily torment and the will to survive’ – Martin Gilbert, The Times.

  6. Unfortunately for the world, arrogant little vicious Israel has at least 400 nuclear weapons with delivery systems and I believe the little bastards might actually use them. They may not go out with a whimper, but with a real big bang that could take down civilization.

The world must unit now and disarm Israel.

    • Sophia Martin says:

To Wayne: This is spot on

The world must unite now and disarm Israel.

Golda Meir in a 1970s interview was asked if the Israel plan fails what would the result be.
Her reply, I paraphrase here, ‘Yes we will destroy every nation’
If the label rabid dog fits….

Can Russian missles defang that rabid dog before it destroys all ?

KUDOS George for understanding the Great Lie! :)

  7. Steve Margineaux says:

Unfortunately for all of us, I don’t think there’s any comparison between modern Israel and any other state that has ever existed. Israel controls the world via the anglo countries, proved by their ability to flagrantly violate international law and custom without consequence. The control is so complete it’s inconceivable, to me, that it could ever be broken, short of a complete social collapse.

  8. Cold Wind says:

Yes, it is true Israel exudes ‘negative energy’. In this it is almost a singularity, were it not for the fact the world is rapidly sinking to Israel’s level.

  9. Another relevant monty python sketch is Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life.

  10. Patrick Sullivan says:

The central banker bomber crowd who devised and installed cannibal village in the mid east have also mined the planet with tens of thousands of nuclear weapons.

If they are in the beginnings of their death throes, what does that portend for our future?

Is it true that only Love can conquer hate?

Will our love for them overcome their hate for us?

  11. Once Israel falls, and it will, the USA will finally be free of the parasitic nation once and for all. The American media will be free, the policitians will be free, and the taxpayer will be free from financing Israel’s dirty wars. II hope to live long enough to see it happen!

  12. The American and British Armed Forces must march into Israel, NOW, and take their Nuclear Weapons away and disarm them. Then they need to stop funding Israel and finally they need to establish Israel as one nation, all people equal and hold an election where every person, Palestinian, Arab, Jew, Muslim and Christian can vote.
Strike any mention of “Jew” or “Judiasm” from all legal documents. ( ie: the Constitution).
    problem solved.

  13. Scott Mollett says:

Israel is not the problem. Israel is a steam valve to keep pressure off of the jew banker/media mafia that has usurped the western nations political processes.

We do not have a zionist problem we have a jew problem.

  14. Demographics and geography will carry the day.

Israel is too small, demographically, to go on aborting its should-be replacement generations. With no prospect of large-scale Jewish immigration in the offing, Russia having been tapped, Israeli Jewry now faces imminent demographic collapse.

Geographically, meanwhile, the country is just too small to sustain any kind of really concerted attack with advanced weaponry. Tel Aviv, Haifa, and a handful of other cities can go up in smoke within minutes, if push comes to shove, and Israel will not survive the damage.

Expect the entire house of cards to collapse within our lifetimes. Maybe not this year or even this decade, but soon enough.

  15. Please, the real Elie Wiesel , stand-up…..

“Israel is a land built on myths. It is, of course, not unique in this. Indeed, in this way Israel is very much like its patron, the United States. In order to build and maintain a mythical status a nation must create a picture of itself from its very inception and pass that picture down generation upon generation. For the US it is the idea that the nation is a beacon of both democracy and capitalism unto the world and what it does in terms of foreign policy, and even when at war, is always done altruistically. For Israel, the myth is that the nation is democratic and the last bastion of safety for the world’s Jews. Everything it does, even when that amounts to imperial expansion, is done defensively,” Professor Lawrence Davidson (West Chester University), August, 1, 2010……

  16. They’ll bring the downfall of israel due their own words. Good ridance to that A.S.S. Aparthed Sionist State.

  17. Bar Kochbar says:

I am sure you wont print this because you lived with the Taliban and therefore appreciate one-sided biased censorship…
Israel is so small, why not show some humanity and leave it in peace -Jews and Arabs lived fine for 1500 years and Israel looks after its Arabs better than Gadaffi, Mubarek and Assad did!
Its a game reserve with 6 million souls in – Dhimmi and Arab – 200 years ago it had a few thousand. Jewish immigration attracted the crushed Arab masses that became the Palestinians.
Finally Arabs+Oil=Strength… Arabs-OIl=Festering backwater misognysts. Oil is running out so time is running out for the Arabs.
When the Oil is gone the Arabs will turn on themseleves like always.
