A keen observer and analyst of the politico-economic global game through which the so-called New World Order (NWO) is being enforced, Tariq Majeed gives credit for his competence in this field to his service in the Pakistan Navy, which he joined in April 1955 and left on voluntary retirement in July 1987. The Navy provided him opportunities for visiting many countries and acquiring advanced education in a variety of subjects. Born in Lahore on 22 August 1937, he studied in Central Model School and Government College Lahore. He is a graduate of the US Naval Command College and also holds an M.Sc. (War Studies) degree. He has to his credit numerous articles, research studies on leading critical issues. His articles have also appeared in foreign journals, such as Marine Rundscahau (Hamburg), Naval Forces (London) and Naval War College Review (Newport).
